Terms
Terms of service
Draft – pending review. This text is not final legal advice and will change after counsel review.
Draft – last updated October 10, 2026.
These terms cover the Property Portal website and the Android and iOS apps. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to them. If you open a company account, you also agree on behalf of that company.
The service
Property Portal is a maintenance ledger: residents report issues, managers assign work, and technicians update jobs. We may change features as we operate the product. We do not promise uninterrupted access.
Accounts
You must give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. Company owners and managers are responsible for who they invite and what those people can see. Residents and workers should only use the buildings and jobs they are given access to.
Acceptable use
Do not probe other companies' data, upload malware, abuse invites, or use the service to harass anyone. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or creates risk for other customers.
Your content
You keep ownership of the names, notes, photos, and comments you add. You give us a license to store and display that content so the product can work for your company. Do not upload material you do not have the right to share.
Billing
Company plans are billed in USD through Stripe. Plan limits and prices are on the pricing page. Residents and workers are not charged. Sales tax may be added at checkout where it applies.
Cancellation, deletion, and data
If a company plan is canceled, that company's buildings, work orders, and photos are deleted 120 days after cancellation. Deleting an account where you are the only owner of a company deletes that company's data right away. The Privacy policy has the full retention and export rules.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. We are not responsible for maintenance work itself, contractor quality, or property damage. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees the company paid us in the three months before a claim.
Governing law
[Governing law and venue, founders and counsel to set]
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
